Volunteer at the Panda Base

          I was born and raised in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, which is also the area where pandas mainly come from. I am charmed by the adorable appearance of the giant panda and willing to devote myself to better their living conditions. As an animal conservationist, I spent semesters studying basic environmental science, which offers me the chances to work as a volunteer at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. I worked as a tour guide, who interpreted the academic knowledge about panda, its habitat, and its relatives to the tourists from English to Chinese.
